Position Title: Packing Associate
Full time Tuesday - Saturday 10am-6pm

The Packaging Manager will provide communication to employees regarding various issues and communicate with Management of daily problems and quality issues. This position will manage the scheduling, paperwork, employee issues, and responsiveness of Olde Hearth Bread Company, within the wholesale facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Accurately slice, hinge, and package a variety of bread products.
Follow production sheets and packaging instructions carefully.
Perform quality checks on every product — you’re the last set of eyes before it goes out.
Ensure products are packed in the correct bags (paper or plastic depending on customer).
Label and organize packaged goods for delivery.
Keep the packaging area and equipment clean and organized.
Assist with invoicing and preparing sample orders when needed.
Work safely, efficiently, and as part of a team.
What We’re Looking For:
2+ year of experience in food production or packaging preferred.
1+ year of management in food production.
Ability to work overnight/early morning shifts reliably.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs and remain on your feet throughout the shift.
Strong attention to detail and product quality.
Ability to follow instructions in English and communicate with the team.
A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and support others.
